Come See Us At the 2017 Association for Challenge Course Technology Conference
We’ve been attending the ACCT conference for the last 5 years and it never ceases to impress us. It is a conference and exhibition that focuses all events on the promotion of the aerial adventure industry and its people. The sessions are full of research related to our niche community that is difficult, to say the least, to find through online research. The exhibit hall is a social arena where vendors answer questions and visitors get to see and get their hands on the newest technology. The bar is always set higher by the ACCT conference staff from year to year and we are confident this year will be no different. The big show starts tomorrow, Feb 2nd, at the Savannah International Trade and Conference Center and we hope to see many of you at the Aerial Adventure Tech booth #602.
This year in the exhibit hall, we will be showcasing a brand new piece of equipment that many of you have been asking about since last year. The transitional, spliced lobster claw is being phased out due to advancements in technology and changes to our insurance world. Seeing this shift happening two years ago, we took to the R&D lab (i.e. the basement of our lodge-based office) and began developing what would become the replacement of the spliced claws. We retooled the design with the input from course operators, trainers, and a few different manufacturers of our industry’s goods. After two years of designing, prototypes, and testing we are unveiling the EZ Adjust Y Lanyards this week at the ACCT Conference and Exhibition.
The EZ Adjust Y Lanyards are made of a 12-strand, no core arborist rope and ANSI rated components with sewn rope terminations. An already proven tool in the arborist world, this rope is incredibly grippy because of its lack of sheath and core construction. Its hitches slide easily when adjustments are needed and range from 3.5 to 6 feet. The EZ Adjust Y Lanyard is also customizable with two color options, a choice of large or small snap hooks, in addition to a girth or 3-stage carabiner attachment option. Find all the specs and more on our EZ Adjust Y Lanyard product page on www.aerialadventuretech.com. We are proud of the industry effort we have been leading to bring this lobster claw replacement to the market and are confident you will like what you see.
Visit us at booth 602, just inside the main entrance, and check out the new EZ Adjust Y Lanyards. This new piece of equipment isn’t the only thing we have in the booth for you to be excited about. We are giving our inner “gear nerd” the mic this year at ACCT. This year’s booth is the place where you can compare the essential gear every aerial adventure operation needs. We have harnesses, helmets, trolleys, carabiners, lanyards, belay devices and gloves you can try on and compare side-by-side. We want to give you the chance to shop and compare in real-time for the gear that matters most to you and your operation. Stop by the booth and let’s talk gear!
